Valerie has a warm, compassionate, non -judgmental, caring and authentic approach to her work. She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients and those who support them. Valerie has worked in the areas of intellectual disability, workers compensation, trauma and as a school counsellor. Now established in private practice Valerie supports clients who are experiencing low self-esteem, school and workplace stress, relationship and peer difficulties, emotional dysregulation, eating disorders, peri/post-natal challenges, behaviour challenges, and mental health conditions.
She also has extensive experience in diagnosis of intellectual disability, ADHD, Autism, Positive behaviour support and a range of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, eating disorder and post-natal.
Valerie can help you by tailoring your therapy using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) for both adults and children and Emotion based coaching including Tuning into Kids.
She has worked as a psychologist in both the community and private sector since 2004. Valerie is a psychologist who is also a qualified supervisor, providing supervision to interns and registered psychologists.

She is committed to connecting with her clients in a safe and non-judgmental space to work together on achieving the goals of therapy.
Amanda specialises in psychological interventions for children, adolescents and adults for a range of mental health presentations, including anxiety and depression. She is also trained in Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Schema Therapy and works with young people and adults who have experienced trauma.

Doctor of Clinical and Health PsychologyMel is a Clinical and Health Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working in mental health. Mel has worked across private practice, inpatient and community mental health settings, with children, adolescents, adults and families. She is experienced in both individual and group therapy.
Mel is passionate about helping to empower people to overcome obstacles and work towards creating meaningful life changes. Her areas of skill include trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, grief, stress and relationship issues.
Mel adopts a range of evidence-based therapy models to help people reach their goals including Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Mel believes in a person-centred approach and will help you by tailoring treatment models to your individual needs.
Mel is a wife and a mum of two young children and a Golden Retriever. She enjoys being active, surfing, swimming, running and spending quality time with family and friends.
Mel is accepting referrals for adults and young people (aged 16 years and over).

Suzanne is a Clinical Psychologist who has over fifteen years clinical experience working in both the public and private sectors in Australia and the UK. She has worked across a range of settings including outpatient, inpatient, community, schools and specialist mental health services.
Suzanne works with adults, children, adolescents and their families to improve relationships, address difficulties and achieve their therapy goals. She provides therapy for a variety of presenting difficulties including challenging behaviours and difficulties in managing emotions.
Suzanne has completed training in a variety of evidence-based cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT) and has a particular interest in mindfulness-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She is also a Certified Provider and Certified Trainer in Ross Greene’s Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS) model.
Suzanne has been trained in the assessment of Autism and also provides ADHD, cognitive and learning assessments.
Suzanne is approved by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Supervisor for all psychology training pathways and enjoys providing supervision for ongoing professional development to other psychologists and health professionals as well.

As a psychotherapist, Alex specialises in working with adults, supporting them through a range of challenges including but not limited to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, emotional regulation, and existential concerns.
With a relational approach to therapy, Alex focuses on building authentic, supportive, collaborative connections with clients. This approach emphasises the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for healing and growth. Alex develops bespoke plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, drawing from a range of integrative, evidence-based practices.
In addition to his clinical work, Alex enjoys teaching about psychotherapy having taught courses in ethics, lifespan development, integrative psychotherapy theory, mental health and distress, and integrative psychotherapy practice.
He is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and brings a depth of knowledge and expertise to his therapeutic and educational roles.
Alex’s practice is grounded in the belief that therapy is a journey of discovery and transformation. His compassionate approach is inspired by his own lived experience, which lends to a non-patholgising and warm approach.
